Nano Positioning Sensor
Some SmarAct positioners can be equipped with a sensor for nanopositioning tasks. The linear nanosensor has a resolution of about 1 nm and an absolute accuracy of +/- 1 µm. Positioners with integrated nanosensor must be connected to an MCS control system. The MCS controller can then use the sensor values for closed-loop position control.
For ordering a positioner with integrated nanosensor please add "-S" to the order code of the positioner, e.g. "SLC-1730-S".
